WSBK 2009 - Philip Island Superpole Highlights
The 2009 season for WSBK Championship just started. The newcomer team ( BMW and Aprilia ) will be their first attempt in this race. However, Aprilia show their sting first when get a good place in qualifying and superpole.
Max Biaggi put the new Aprilia RSV4 a shock second on the grid for its World Superbike race debut at Phillip Island on Sunday.
Aprilia is making its factory return after seven years out of WSBK, while Biaggi last rode for the Italian manufacturer during the 1996 250cc World Championship.
Oldtimer rider ,Biaggi is back and he will be good rider for Aprilia new team in this season.
While BMW team, only get the 17th place for their best result . Maybe it need a time for them but the Aprilia team, show it quick. Majority, Kawasaki does not show a good result in this 1st season of WSBK 2009. Overall of Kawasaki bike dominate the 22th place and below.
Only 16th is the best result , who is no 23 Parkes B. from AUSTRALIA with Kawasaki ZX 10R (1'32.719 ).
Another shock news is, rookie Ben Spies (Yamaha World Superbike) get his first Superpole win of the season in an exciting opening round session at Phillip Island in Australia.

Ducati 1198 Video and Test Ride Report
The 1198S come with full data logging system and a traction control system that’s controlled by software that comes from Ducati’s MotoGP and WSBK bikes.
This system comes with eight settings to allow us to fine-tune the way it works. So if you are really brave enough, you can start opening the throttle more earlier while exiting those 200km/h corners. Its really impressive. This bike come with advance technology and for sure, you will got a feel like riding motogp or wsbk race bike.
This Ducati 1198S gets Ohlins suspension , an Ohlins steering damper, seven-spoke forged aluminium wheels from Marchesini, also a carbonfibre front mudguard. Dry weightfor this marvelous bike is 171 kg.Thats really awesome. Looks like track junkies can twist this bike on a bend nicely.
With 170bhp at 9,750rpm and 131Nm of torque at 8,000rpm, Ducati’s 1198cc Testastretta Evoluzione L-twin is a new challenger for Aprilia RSV4, KTM RC8 and BMW S1000RR.
The price for Ducati 1198 is around USD 16500 while 1198 S model around USD 21 000. So, for bike lover, get your Ducati's now and get some fun behind your legs.
